What this job involves:
As an Assistant Site Manager at JLL, you'll support the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, with a focus on coordinating vendor activities and ensuring service quality. You'll assist in maintaining site standards, addressing operational issues, and supporting the implementation of site-specific strategies to meet client needs.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Assisting in the coordination and supervision of hard and soft services vendors on site
- Conducting routine site inspections to ensure vendor compliance with service agreements
- Supporting the Site Manager in vendor performance reviews and quality assessments
- Helping to resolve day-to-day operational issues and vendor-related concerns
- Collecting and organizing data for site performance reports and analyses
- Assisting in the implementation of site-specific operational procedures and protocols
- Participating in safety and compliance initiatives to maintain a secure work environment
- Liaising between vendors, on-site staff, and the Site Manager to facilitate communication
Desired experience and technical skills:
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in facility management, operations, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in vendor management and service level agreements
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic familiarity with facility management software
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in a customer-facing role within a corporate or commercial setting
- Familiarity with common building systems and maintenance practices
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in a workplace setting
- Experience with data collection and basic reporting
- Understanding of sustainable practices in facility management
- Exposure to project management principles
