Role Purpose
The Client Finance Manager is a senior leadership role, with oversight of one or more client accounts, depending on client requirement. Business partnering with the Account Director, and reporting to the Group Account Finance Director, this role has the responsibility of leading the finance team and being the strategic partner for all financial, operational and client matters relating to the account(s).
Responsible for the implementation and execution of accounting processes and programs designed to ensure the appropriate level of accuracy, tracking and control over the operating expenses and capital expenditures of the client account. With full ownership of all financial/accounting deliverables both for the client and internally, and ensuring a robust control environment.
What this job involves:
Key financial/accounting business partner for the Account Executive, working across business lines and finance functions. Act as advisor and strategic partner to these groups for all financial, operational, and client matters.
Be proactive in developing and managing client/business unit relationships ensuring that the expected service levels are achieved across the region.
Own the delivery of monthly/quarterly financial reporting packages and oversee the management and coordination of all financial activities.
Own the preparation, management, consolidation, and delivery of the annual plan and re-forecast.
Meeting working capital objectives and metrics.
Supervision of the team in the completion of the quarterly audit and compliance schedules
Ensure robust financial controls, including Cash Reconciliations, all Balance sheet reconciliations & compliance with SOX reporting.
Developing and maintaining systems of internal controls to safeguard the organization's financial assets.
Designing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining policies and procedures that support efficient and effective processes and maintaining strong internal controls.
Ownership of all financial processes within the given span of control
Coordinate and track the cost savings initiatives for the region, and Risks and opportunities.
Lead and coach the team to ensure high staff morale, trust, work ethics, development and clear goals.

5+ years experience of financial leadership, and working with clients. Ideally in an international environment.
University degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or equivalent and Qualified Member of Professional Accounting Association (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
Understanding of and commitment to business partnering and client service
Strong accounting, analytical, relationship management, organizational, and coordination skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills to internal and external parties
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Proficiency in computer-based accounting applications. Experience with JD Edwards platforms a plus
Demonstrated consistency in values, principles, and work ethic.
A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment.
