The Campus Technical services manager (TSM) will be responsible for the delivery of Facilities Management Engineering & Sustainability services on the LinkedIn Dublin Campus and technical compliance monitoring across the wider EMEAL estate . In this capacity, the TSM will be primarily responsible to manage the Engineering service delivery of the EMEA HQ campus in Dublin 2. They will also be tasked with ensuring sustainability accreditation is maintained and that the client interest in terms of warranties are fully protected. The individual will work in close collaboration with the Campus Workplace manager and EMEAL Account Director, maintaining a close interface with the Clients, so excellent communication and client-facing skills are essential.

The TSM will be responsible for:

  • Goal Zero – Embed EHS as a way of doing business. Enforce a zero tolerance to unsafe working practices to target a goal zero accident rate.
  • Ensuring a high level of client satisfaction, establishing and managing the service delivery teams delivering key initiatives as well as ensuring consistency in processes, systems and reporting.
  • Ensuring the efficient and consistent operation of all facility engineering activities to meet all contractual obligations with respect to the Dublin Campus including risk management and Crisis Management Support
  • Support Sustainability objectives within Dublin Campus and wider EMEA region
  • Ensure MSA & KPI assurance, Local Legislation Compliance, Implementation of Corporate Initiatives, Implementation and evidencing of training and procedures to ISO standards including reporting on JLL and client platforms
  • Be responsible for the direct management of all resources involved in the delivery of Engineering Services. (E.g. recruitment, ethics, performance assessment, personal development, personal wellbeing etc. driving JLL standing as employer of choice.
  • Support the development and ensure effective implementation standard operating and maintenance procedures and processes for the account.
  • Drive client specific initiatives such as savings targets, benchmarking and best practice, including EHS Risk Management
  • Be responsible for the implementation of technology systems to support engineering and sustainability service delivery
  • Lead the identification and/or the implementation of Sustainability Strategies
  • Ensure Sustainability is embedded as a way of doing business throughout the EMEA Region and across all geographies including the development and the communication of Sustainability best practices
  • Actively participate in the JLL ESS EMEA forum and Sustainability network
  • Ensure the adherence to the IFM/ Account Master Service Agreement and
  • all Engineering deliverables.
  • Be the single point of contact for LinkedIn covering all Engineering & Sustainability Services and as the primary escalation point.
  • Manage ES spend within agreed and assigned budgets.
  • Ensure effective and timely implementation of training plans to enhance and develop the skills of technicians to ensure they remain competent to carry out their assigned duties and reduce our reliance on sub suppliers.
  • Ensure Engineering Services is 100% certified by the recognised external governing organisation where appropriate to do so
  • Ensure the engineering practices are continuously compliant with legal, statutory and contractual obligation and are being consistently executed in accordance with current JLL practice and best in class requirements.

Skills

  • Technical qualified – ideally a Chartered Professional or related degree/experience.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Engineering / Building Services / Sustainability Services
  • Proven self-starter that consistently delivers to outcome specifications
  • Proven experience of operating in a similar role and multi-cultural fast paced tech environment
