What this opportunity involves:

With new business growth, we are seeking expressions of interest for an experienced Finance professional to join us as our National Finance Manager in our Melbourne team.

This is a pivotal role for our Australia business. You will be a key business partner to the Client and a member of our Account leadership team, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the account and its operations.

Please note this is an Expressions of Interest – the recruitment process is due to commence late January and target to conclude in February - March 2025.

What this role involves:

  • Management and administration of the Service Provider Agreement between Client and JLL
  • Management of contract variations process including pricing, documentation and approval.
  • Manage Corporate Month End, forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Management of Client Finance scope as outlined in the Service Provider Agreement
  • Management of vendor payments and service levels of JLL internal and external suppliers.
  • Ownership of key account performance reporting including KPIs and the Savings and Innovations tracker.
  • Run the Contract Management meetings and ensure actions are agreed and closed with the client on a timely basis.
  • Manage Finance client relationship to encourage partnering approach to work environment.
  • Analyst team oversight driving continuous improvement around periodic and ad-hoc client reporting and related processes. (Forecast and Budget)
  • Accountant team oversight driving continuous improvement around core accounting controls, processes and month end responsibilities.
  • Shared Services team oversight ensuring processes and responsibilities are efficient and accurate.
  • Outsourced Services oversight ensuring service levels are being met and critical issues / controls are being appropriately addressed and mitigated.
  • Provide Client account systems strategy in conjunction with the wider JLL resources (Australia and International) and manage the implementation of all systems on the Client Account.
  • Ensure the integrity of critical data between finance (JD Edwards) and other key systems (Helpdesk (Corrigo)).
  • Provide effective leadership, direction and drive development of the JLL Finance team.
  • Ensure that the team meets all audit requirements.
  • Ensure the Finance team assists with all ad-hoc reporting and project requirements.

  • 10 years post formal finance qualification experience (CA, CPA)
  • Strong proven financial / commercial governance experience
  • Prior experience to managing financial aspects of complex, fixed price contracts will be a distinct advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse range of client representatives and JLL stakeholders.
  • Sound written and oral communication skills, and the capacity to deal with ambiguity and complex problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to own / manage multiple and complex deliverables on a daily and project basis.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise work within tight / competing deadlines.
  • Experience in managing and leading accounting or finance teams
  • Sound IT and Excel proficiency
