Junior Reliability Engineer
This exciting opportunity is for a Junior Reliability Engineer to join the EMEA team to carry out Asset Validations for clients across various locations across Europe. The collected data is then used to continually improve maintenance programs to meet outcomes-based performance measures.
The successful candidate will join a growing team and undertake training along side their day-to-day asset validation duties that will prepare them for becoming a full Reliability Engineer.
The role requires travel to client sites to collect the asset information and candidates must be prepared to travel across EMEA and spend time away from home.
Position Responsibility of ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Recognizes that assignments are broad in nature and require appreciable originality and ingenuity to complete them and considerable latitude for un-reviewed actions or decisions.
Asset Validation
- Carry out collection of base line asset data in the field through physical inspection of the asset.
- Review and analysis of numerous data sources (e.g. drawings, O&M Manuals, manufacturer's data sheets etc) to identify required data elements
- Responsible for initial triage of the collected data to ensure it meets minimum data standards
- Prepare the collected information for upload into a CMMS by transposing the collected data onto various load templates
- Planning and prioritising own work schedules in order to meet project deadlines.
- Regular reporting of progress to regional and global reliability leads
- Supporting reliability activities such as root cause analysis investigations, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and preventive maintenance optimization (PMO), as well as assist in developing and implementing precision and predictive maintenance routines.
Performs other work as assigned.
Experience:
- BS in an Engineering discipline, mechanical or electrical preferred.
- Formal maintenance planning/scheduling training
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience implementing RCM, CbM/PdM methods, operating building automation and energy management systems, and thorough understanding of asset management, data analytics, and capital planning approaches.
- Experience in general facilities and/or critical/ regulated environments preferred (data centers, laboratories, manufacturing environments, automotive, petro-chemicals, pharmaceutical etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire suppression systems.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial, critical, manufacturing, labs, or distribution facility types required.

- Proven ability to read, comprehend and apply information from technical manuals and other reference materials
- Ability to make informed recommendations in situations where data sets may be incomplete
- Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports
- Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to balance multiple stakeholder requirements
- Able to interpret how the organisational goals and strategy translate into service or departmental activity
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to manipulate large amounts of data accurately using different spreadsheet formats
- Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvements and assist with implementing them
- Ability to engage with client/team stakeholders at senior level

Certifications & Licenses:
- Certified Reliability Leader is preferred.
- Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional is preferred.
- Level 1 thermography certification is preferred.
- Level 1 vibration certification is preferred.
- Level 1 ultrasound certification is preferred.
