Position: Assistant Facilities Manager
Location: Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia
Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Assistant Facilities Manager to oversee Soft Services operations for a prestigious technology client. The role involves managing facility operations, maintenance, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Campus/Building Management: Conduct routine checks, develop and Maintain SOPs, implement maintenance schedules, ensure compliance, optimize budgets, maintain occupant satisfaction, and implement eco-friendly practices.
2. People Management: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performance team, fostering teamwork and excellence.
3. Client/Stakeholder Management: Serve as key contact, build relationships, meet client expectations, and establish efficient communication protocols.
4. Health & Safety Management: Maintain safe environment, comply with regulations, assess hazards, implement safe practices.
5. Procurement & Vendor Management: Ensure vendor compliance, manage performance within budget.
6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, highlight issues to management.
7. Performance Management: Achieve KPIs and SLAs, prepare reports, provide data-driven insights.
Ideal Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 5+ years' experience in semiconductor/manufacturing
• Knowledge of local health and safety requirements
• Understanding of critical facilities and specialized services
• Strong budget management and financial analysis skills
• Cleanroom/production operations experience (preferred)
