Business Intelligence Development Manager

Department: JLL Technologies / Visual Analytics​ team

We are looking for a Manager in the Visual Analytics team:

• with experience in managing small to medium teams
• with hands-on experience in Business Intelligence, willing to help grow Data Visualization practice
• problem solver with strong analytical skills
• 4+ years of experience with visualization software like Tableau or Power BI

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of 6+ data visualization team members;
• Help to grow the Data Visualization team to a larger scale;
• Providing guidance, leadership, and mentorship to other junior team members during more challenging projects and assignments;
• When needed help the team in solving technical issues around core visualization technologies used (Tableau, Power BI);
• Build Data Visualization and wider BI team knowledge in visualization tools usage and visualization best practices;Working hands-on on developing Business Intelligence solutions for our clients;
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and concepts;
• Develop your own expertise and share it with the team members to help grow the team.

Requirements:

• Speaking fluent English (preferably C1-C2) - we are an international company and we interact with folks from around the globe on a daily basis;
• 2+ years of working experience in growing and managing IT teams either as Manager, Project Manager, or Team Leader
• Creative vision, a passion for learning, and a willingness to adopt and share new ideas;
• Strong communication skills: you will be working closely with stakeholders from different backgrounds and with different roles and levels of seniority;
• Ability to deliver high-quality work in a timely and first-time right manner
• 4+ years of working experience with Tableau and/or Power BI as these are our primary BI visualization tools;
• Advanced data analytics skills, to help our clients to make data-driven decisions;
• Basic knowledge and experience in some of the following technologies and their limitations would be a plus: SQL, Python, R, Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, Snowflake, Alteryx
