Your responsibility as a Senior Analyst will be the performance, integrity and security of a database/platform tool. You'll be involved in the planning and development of the database, as well as in troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users. Ensure that data remains consistent across the database and data is clearly defined.

What this job involves:

  • Extract Live Data : collect and gather data as required by the business or account.

  • Standardize/Cleanse data for Loading.

  • Enrich/transform data as required using data management tools and techniques.

  • Monitor Data Quality and Performance

  • Identify data related issues and determine root cause.

  • Data Access: Assign Passwords and Maintain Database Access

  • Data Integration

  • Data Standardization

  • Data Manipulation: Analyze and Recommend Database Improvements

  • Data Analysis: Analyze Impact of Database Changes to the Business

  • Data Integrity

  • Data Accuracy: Audit Database Access and Requests

  • Continually Review Processes for Improvement

  • Ensure Data is Secure

  • Ensure Databases Run Efficiently

  • Ensure Platform Availability

  • Guarantee Database Setup Meets Industry / Client Requirements

  • Candidate must have analytical and creative problem solving skills with sufficient understanding of Technical Data Concepts and be able to collaborate with Business and Account SMEs to solution data issues.

  • Remediation and document data issues and resolution.

  • Provide trouble shooting for on account teams for workflow issues

  • Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with Operations and the Accounts Teams

  • Provide recommendations for process improvement and implement changes on processes accordingly

  • Conduct New Hire and Refresher Training sessions Generally, support the Regional Platform Manager with ad hoc tasks such as facilitation / organizing boot camps, weekly forums and the like

Senior Analyst Skills:

  • Strong data problem solving skills, identifying errors, researching errors and remediation of errors

  • Autonomy and capacity to escalate when needed

  • Communicate Requirements to System Administrator

  • Task and Project Management

  • Strong documentation and presentation skills

  • Solid Strong Technical and Interpersonal Communication skills: verbal and written

  • Advanced understanding of data quality management

  • Experience in advanced Excel functions for data analysis

  • Experience in defining and understanding data requirements

  • Experience in collecting and documenting meta-data and business rules

  • Experience in end to end data management life cycle from collection, standardization, loading, and monitoring/remediation

  • Experience in liaising, submitting, tracking and managing service requests. 3-5+ years of data management and development experience
