ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

OVERALL ROLE

This role assists the Accounting Manager of PAM in the Philippines. Primary responsible in the management of accounting and finance site operations including financial reporting and general accounting compliance with regulatory bodies

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

FINANCIAL REPORTING

• Ensures all financial reports released to clients and external auditors are reviewed properly by compliance officers
• Participate in the review of client’s budget and analysis of actuals vs approved budget
• Attends monthly client meetings and annual membership meetings
• Monitors site compliances to BIR, SEC and LGUs and submission of reviewed budgets and financial reports
• Monitors timely sending of Statement of Accounts and demand letters to client’s unit owners and/or tenants
• Streamline accounting procedures and reporting templates

COMPLIANCE AUDIT

• Conducts annual account planning designed for each type of buildings managed by PAM
• Designs accounting internal controls, policies and procedures to be used across all sites
• Creates and updates compliance audit procedures/manuals, templates and timetable based on audit plan
• Conducts on-the-spot audit in all sites with cash/check collections and/or funds assigned by client (thru PCF, Revolving Fund, etc.)
• Leads transition audit for new and winding up accounts

OTHERS

• Recommends improvement plans for finance and accounting site operations
• Present compliance reports including audit, transitions, and financial reports status to Senior Accounting Manager and Leadership Team
• Other ad hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time
