The Engineering Center of Excellence (CoE) Lead is responsible for the strategic direction, development, and management of the Engineering CoE within The Account. This role is tasked with driving innovation, technical excellence, and best practices across the engineering function. The CoE Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and implement strategies that optimize engineering processes, tools, and resources.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the long-term vision and strategy for the Engineering CoE, aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Technical Excellence: Promote and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation within the engineering function through coaching, mentoring, and training programs.
  • A Safety Mindset: HSSE knowledge and experience to oversee safety programs, training and oversight.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance engineering workflows, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Best Practices: Drive the adoption of industry best practices, standards, and emerging technologies to improve engineering outcomes and deliverables.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, operations managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of engineering processes and practices within project lifecycles.
  • Resource Optimization: Optimize engineering resources, including tools, software, and equipment, to maximize productivity, reduce costs, and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Talent Development: Develop and implement strategies to attract, develop, and retain top engineering talent. Provide coaching and mentorship to engineers to accelerate their professional growth.
  • Research and Development: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and research to drive innovation and provide strategic recommendations for adoption.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the Engineering CoE initiatives.
  • Ensure account is complaint with engineer services and/or JLL corporate requirements/audits.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to promote the value and impact of the Engineering CoE.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable experience.
  • Experience in engineering leadership roles, with a focus on process improvement, technical excellence, HSSE and innovation.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering practices, HSSE, project management methodologies, and tools.
  • Proven track record in driving innovation and successful implementation of process initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of emerging technologies and industry trends in engineering.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.

Estimated total compensation ran for this position is:

107,800.00 – 156,300.00 USD per year

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
