Second command of Facilities Manager and responsible for creating and maintaining a safe work environment for employees.

Responsibilities
Maintaining and managing organization’s facilities including managing building maintenance, repairs and coordinating services to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Create and implement safety programs, policies, and training programs to ensure employees follow safety regulations and the organization's policies
Inspect work areas and activities for hazards, and conduct audits to maintain high safety compliance standards
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine the cause, address staff complaints, and handle workers' compensation claims
Advise management and top management on safety-related matters, such as noise levels and machinery use

Engage staff in programs to promote safe practices
Compile and analyse accident and injury statistics and cost data to identify areas for improvement and show the "state of safety“
Prepare reports and recommend measures to increase the effectiveness of the health and safety program
Safety officers interact and communicate with the governing bodies as it relates to safety and health

Qualification & Experience Required:

Diploma in equivalent or any related field

Certification in Yellow Book

At least 5 years of related experience

Able to generate management report

Familiar with CMMS system

Client orientated

Managing manpower

Able to manage Vendor / Supplier

Good in time management

Fluency in English (written & verbal)
