What this job involves
As a Move and Change Manager, your primary responsibility will be overseeing and managing small scale moves and changes in workplace for a financial institution across a portfolio in HK. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, facility managers, and IT professionals, to ensure a smooth and efficient move, change and improvement experience for clients. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong customer service focus, and ability to handle multiple moving projects simultaneously.
Project Management: Lead and coordinate all aspects of the move and change process, from pre-move planning to post-move support, ensuring minimal disruption to the client's operations.
Client Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact throughout the move process to address any concerns or issues.
Move Planning: Develop detailed move plans, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and logistics coordination, to ensure all move requirements are met.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors, including moving companies, IT service providers, and contractors, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of services.
Change Management: Assess and evaluate the impact of the move on employees and develop change management strategies to minimize resistance and streamline the transition process.
Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including clients, project teams, and employees, to provide updates, address concerns, and promote transparency throughout the move process.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues associated with the move, implementing appropriate contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
Post-Move Support: Coordinate post-move activities, such as troubleshooting, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support to ensure a seamless transition for clients.
Interested? An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications
Desired experience and technical skills
Required
Bachelor's degree in business management, facilities management, or related field. Proven experience in project management and change management, preferably in the corporate real estate field.
Strong knowledge of relocation processes, including facility planning, logistics, and IT infrastructure setup.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Cantonese.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with the capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients, stakeholders, and service providers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and other relevant software. Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and travel, as required.
