If so… we are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Manager to bring their leadership and expertise to support the Global Travel and Events organization.

The Account Manager provides leads the recruiting, staffing, performance management, budgeting and administrative support for outsourced contractors supporting the Global Travel and Events Team. The program acts as a liaison between the Global Travel and Events Program leadership, serving as a single voice for the enterprise with overall responsibility for resource support in alignment with key initiatives to the broader corporate strategy and vision.

Oversees partnerships with internal stakeholders and 3rd party operational teams to drive program goals and key projects and initiatives. Deploys appropriate SLAs, KPIs and data-driven insights to support service delivery, cost avoidance and process improvements.

Build relationships with key stakeholders and event owners to assess internal customer needs and develop program capabilities in service, technology and data to drive program adoption.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for recruiting, staffing, performance management, budgeting and administrative support for outsourced contractors supporting the Global Travel and Events Team. Point person for escalations and issue resolution.
  • Takes part in customer program requirement planning to include gap analysis, resource management strategy and budgeting, coordination of internal implementation team members, and timely program delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships with key stakeholders across the organization (e.g. risk management, finance, procurement, legal and technology teams.
  • Design and develop strategic plans, roadmaps, budget and resource planning; working closely with leadership to align to broader strategies.
  • Drive proactive stakeholder management/change management initiatives that result in increased adoption of services and strategies.
  • Build a collaborative relationship with Global Travel and Event program management team to share and leverage best practices and drive innovation.
  • Ensures that quality processes and tools are incorporated into all daily activities to drive process efficiencies, standardization and optimization.
  • Investigates and resolves business partner issues/problems.
  • Primary enterprise SME and contact for program management support for Global Travel and Events team.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 5+ years of experience with a large travel program management required
  • 5+ years of experience in RFI/RFP and contract negotiations required
  • 5+ years of management experience preferred
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams
  • Previous travel agency operations or account management experience
  • Proven ability to interact with C-Level management
  • Experience with MS Suite of products required
  • Project management and negotiation experience required
  • Experience delivering a program to support multiple functions, evaluating existing systems and processes in order to improve and grow them to support the business
  • Previous experience with remote or virtual team members and direct reports
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in strategic business discussions that require the ability to form a strong point of view
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with other business, product and tech teams and ability to lead through influence
  • Innovative, hands-on, results-oriented mentality, great use of process improvements and ability to meet tight deadlines

Job Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Requires irregular work hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and valid passport
  • Work location: Seattle, WA or Portland, OR are highly preferred or Virtual Location may be considered

Estimated total compensation range for this position is:

129,500.00 – 187,800.00 USD per year

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
