Via is seeking a proactive and solutions-driven Supply Chain Specialist to support and execute supply chain operations for our team. In this role, you will coordinate closely with stakeholders across all levels of the organization while independently managing sourcing, purchasing, logistics coordination, project tracking, and evaluation of the performance of supply chain solutions to ensure efficient and reliable operations.

Responsibilities Include

  • Drive supplier sourcing efforts to secure required materials for project needs
  • Take primary responsibility for the procurement process by requesting quotes, preparing purchase orders, and tracking order fulfillment
  • Resolve any discrepancies in orders, payments, or deliveries in collaboration with vendors and internal teams
  • Manage shipment scheduling and tracking, working closely with transportation providers and carriers to ensure timely arrivals
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, including shipping labels and Bills of Lading
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchasing, inventory, and delivery tracking
  • Provide timely updates and reports to stakeholders, and act as a key point of contact between internal teams and external suppliers/ customers
  • Support cross-functional supply chain projects from initiation through completion, ensuring milestones and deliverable are met

The ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical), or related fields; or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 2-4 years of experience working in Supply Chain Operations, Purchasing, or Logistics, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Experience with supply chain strategies (e.g., global sourcing, inventory management, supplier consolidation, lead-time reduction, continuous improvements, KPI tracking, and contracting)
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Strong interpersonal skills to develop excellent working relationships at various levels across the organization and with external suppliers
  • Detail-oriented with strong clerical skills
  • Ability to work independently in an informal yet collaborative environment
  • U.S. Work Authorization is required for this role.
