Primary Purpose

Provides multi-step operational and transactional support to the HR community on day-to-day operations and administration of HR objectives, policies and procedures. Responsible for implementing, executing, and owning Exelon's policies and programs independently and in a time-sensitive environment. Responsibilities include regular interfacing with internal and external stakeholders at various levels in the organization.


Primary Duties

  • Provide transactional support and ownership of employee and organizational changes. Responsible for handing escalations and more complicated, multi-step transactions within HR Solutions. (40%)
  • Assist on HR operational issues with business unit HR teams and both internal & external stakeholders. Assess and evaluate customer issues and drive to resolution. Provide coaching and mentorship to peers, business leaders, and HR Business Partners (HRBP) to resolve employee and operational issues, when needed. (20%)
  • Own and support annual & ongoing processes in partnership with HRBP, Talent COE and other internal & external stakeholders. (10%)
  • Assist HR Technology on evaluating, debugging and implementing potential system changes. (10%)
  • Conduct routine data and system audits (10%)
  • Partner's with external vendors on execution of HR's programs and objectives (5%)
  • Other duties as assigned (5%)

Job Scope

  • Interact with stakeholders including employees at all levels of the organization, HR Business Partners, and external vendors & service providers.
  • Works under direct supervision of HR Solutions management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in Human Resources or related field and a minimum of 2-4 years of HR experience. In lieu of degree, 3-6 years
    of relevant experience
  • Strong customer service skills, specifically an ability to listen and observe.
  • Ability to organize and deliver ongoing operational work.
  • Attention to detail in time critical, service- oriented technical environment
  • Demonstrated behavior of accountability
  • Ability to identify, quantify and summarize issues along with potential solutions.
  • Excel (particularly formulas, functions and pivot tables), Word, Outlook and PowerPoint experience
  • Knowledge of business (Energy Services or Corporate-type background is helpful)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including knowledge of EEO, ADA and FMLA.
  • Experience and knowledge of Exelon's polices and programs.

  • Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors:USD $61,600.00/Yr. - USD $92,400.00/Yr.
