Work Asset Management and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Supervisor

Role and Scope of Position:
The Supervisor, Work Asset Management (WAM) and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) is responsible for supervising the WAM administrators and overseeing the QA/QC process. They will ensure the efficient and accurate use of the work management system, Maximo, while also providing substantial QA/QC oversight to maintain compliance and data quality. The Supervisor will collaborate with the IT department to implement necessary updates and modifications to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met. Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control processes for the Maximo system to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Provide oversight and guidance to the team responsible for maintaining the Maximo system, ensuring they adhere to regulatory and compliance standards. Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory and compliance requirements and communicate any necessary updates or changes to the team.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervise and provide guidance to the WAM administrators in setting up and analyzing Preventative Maintenance (PM) frequencies for various work types.
  • Ensure that the Maximo system is in compliance with all state and federal regulations. Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory and compliance requirements and communicate any necessary updates or changes to the team.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to implement necessary updates and modifications to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met. Providing oversight and guidance to the team responsible for maintaining the Maximo system, ensuring they adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control processes for the Maximo system to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ensure all equipment (locations/assets) required to be entered in GIS systems and Work Asset Management Systems are accurately entered and subsequent PM's/Routes are created for compliance inspections.
  • Review and assure the quality and accuracy of data on a regular basis, taking corrective actions as needed. Collaborating to establish and implement quality control procedures for work orders, inspections, and reporting data.
  • Conduct regular audits of work requests to identify duplications and audit/create work orders for Maintenance/Meter Services to perform required corrective maintenance.
  • Oversee the QA/QC process, ensuring that completed work is reviewed for completeness and accuracy.
  • Work to identify and address any data quality issues or process improvements.
  • Prepare data, presentations, reports, or information as needed to support business improvement initiatives.
  • Respond to regulatory requests for information and provide input to business decision making and goals and budget development processes.
  • Proactively learn about the company, industry, and the business areas being supported to understand, validate, and communicate performance results and progress of business initiatives.

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

Technical Knowledge/Skill:

  • Design, build, analyze, and interpret data models (relational tables or databases) and use data from a data warehouse or other database.
  • Identify and ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong mathematics capabilities, conceptual/analytics capabilities, and process analysis tools use.
  • Basic understanding of 49 CFR 192 code compliance requirements.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience required.
  • Experience in gas distribution, utility, or technical strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $127,710.00 to $141,900.00, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of benefits.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed both in an office environment and in the field to conduct audits, training, and resolve complex problems. Occasional travel to other company locations may be required for specific projects or training.
  • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
  • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
  • This position is categorized as safety-sensitive for the purpose of drug testing. Successful applicants shall be subject to a pre-assignment drug test if the individual is currently in a non-safety sensitive position. As an employee in this position the individual shall be subject to random drug testing.
