Hinkley Point C is the UK’s first new build nuclear power station in a generation that is critical to the UK NetZero targets.

Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for managing Dalkia’s HPC resourcing activities including planning, attracting and selecting new employees. Working collaboratively with hiring managers from all areas of the business and provide advice and support to assist each area throughout the hiring process.
You will look after both volume blue collar and professional vacancies which requires you to have an understanding of a wide variety of roles, functions and skill areas.
- Develop and implement a robust direct candidate attraction strategy
- Assist with role approval process, ensuring all role requirements are accurate and relevant
- Oversee all recruitment campaigns, attract candidates through the internal job service, and other relevant sources
- Ensure job descriptions are accurate and in place for advertising roles and new starters
- Assist in organising and conducting interviews
- Monitor responses, applications and process efficiently
- Support managers to design and implement suitable assessment tools
- Set up regular operational meetings to discuss current and future requirements
- Gather research, market and competitor information to help support campaign planning and success
- Ensure existing employees have a positive experience when applying for post internally
- Review current recruitment practice and recommend continuous improvements
- Proactively seek out new and alternative channels to reach potential applicants
- Ensure recruitment processes are carried out in a professional, structured and consistent manner across the business and ensure they are compliant with regulatory and legal requirements
- Monitor success (response & success rates, cost of hire etc) to ensure recruitment goals are being met in a cost effective / timely manner
- Provide monthly reporting on activity
- Liaise with HR Manager, and Training and Skills Manager to ensure adequate induction and training dates are available, and communicate these to the business.

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience
- Previous experience of the full end-to-end recruitment cycle
- Experience of recruiting roles across a wide variety of functions / skill areas from blue collar large scale campaigns to managers (preferably in a Construction Sector business)
- Experience of sourcing and using a variety of sourcing channels including the internet, employee referral, advertising and third parties
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Driven by tight deadlines and ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business
- Ability to build close working relationships with team colleagues and internal/external stakeholders
- Experience in managing external suppliers, including monitoring PSL performance.
- Self motivated and driven – but not to the exclusion of others
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to take a confident and diplomatic approach
Additional Qualifications/ Experience:
- A valid CSCS card.
- Excellent IT Skills relevant to the business stream are desirable and Microsoft Office is essential.

- 9 day fortnight
