Expected salary range of $159,300 to $177,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Provide overall proactive management of the site regulatory assurance function and regulatory interface with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements. Reports directly to the Organization Performance and Regulatory Director.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide overall management of the site regulatory assurance function and regulatory interface with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the performance and development of site regulatory assurance personnel relative to site and corporate objectives and provide focus on the attainment of high-quality results.
  • Work closely with other Site Regulatory Assurance Managers and Corporate Licensing Managers to ensure that support required from the assigned functions are provided competently, in accordance with prescribed standards and programs, efficiently, and on a timely and responsive basis. Ensure that the Organizational Performance and Regulatory Director is kept apprised of work priorities and ongoing initiatives.
  • Fulfill managerial responsibilities regarding assigned staff (e.g., Employment, Development, Compensation, Performance Evaluation, etc.). Ensure consistent and effective work force practices through assigned staff and that activities are accomplished within budget and executed in accordance with the business plan.
  • Perform ERO role and maintain qualifications as an active member of the ERO.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS Technical Discipline
  • 8 to 10 years of professional experience including diverse work and 3 years supervisory experience
  • Effective written and oral communications
  • RHR evaluation/recommendation required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MS in a technical discipline or MBA preferred
  • Team-driven experience in a matrixed environment is desired
  • Knowledge of reactor systems (design, and function), Technical Specifications, UFSAR, and applicable portions of the Code of Federal Regulations preferred
  • Previous SRO license/certification preferred
