Entry Level - $85,000K

Mid Level - $90,000 - $110,000

Sr Level - $117,000- $143,000

Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

In-Service Testing (IST) and Appendix J Program Owner - Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of maintaining the safety and reliability of nuclear power plant operations. Responsible for technical decisions ensuring that critical components are tested, monitored, and maintained according to regulatory standards. Possesses excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Program Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain the IST and Appendix J program plans, ensuring alignment with codes and regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with 10 CFR 50 Appendix J and ASME OM code requirements and maintain documentation for audits. Review and address operational experience (OPEX).
  • Outage Support: Lead home site outage support coverage and support refueling outages at other sites as assigned.
  • Testing and Verification: Perform pre-service and periodic verification tests on pumps and valves, including flow, differential pressure, and vibration tests. Establish reference values during normal operations and ensure required instrument accuracy.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance history of valves and pumps to detect degradation and ensure they meet design basis accident (DBA) requirements. Trend component performance and provide information to the site.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical and administrative guidance to station personnel. Review technical changes to surveillance/test procedures.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Support programmatic troubleshooting, perform various corrective action program (CAP) evaluations, and disposition program issues as they arise.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Entry Level E01 Engineer – New Graduate

    • E1- B.S in Engineering

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Mid-level E02 Engineer

    • B.S. in Engineering and 2+ years Nuclear or related engineering experience

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior E03 Engineer

    • B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer and 5+ years engineering experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced technical degree or related coursework
  • Nuclear Utility Experience
  • IST / APP J Experience
