Expected salary range of $156,600 to $174,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position will have the overall responsibility for coordination and schedule integration of workload between the two Technical Services. In addition, this position has the overall responsibility for business growth and profitability of the combined operations. This position is responsible for the development and growth of new business lines including external alliances/teaming agreements involving Technical Services core competencies. This position manages and is accountable for all aspects of Technical Services activities.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Day to day supervision of Technicians and/or Engineers, to assure problem solving, investigative and testing activities are focused to meet quality requirements, customer needs, due dates, cost estimates, and division goals. Responsible for coordinating workload to optimally utilize resources and equipment in pursuit of cost/profit and client needs.
- Customer interface for the purpose of staying abreast of technical issues, providing consultation, assessing customer needs, conducting marketing activities, preparing project proposals and providing on-site support, as necessary.
- Responsible for direct involvement in Marketing of Technical Services to outside clients/potential clients.
- Overall responsibility for work team quality including technical review and approval of customer work products, safety, productivity, and budget performance.
- Responsible for managing alliances/teaming agreements to assure optimization of revenue and profit as well as client satisfaction.
- Responsibility for training, qualification and certification and certification of team members.
- Responsible for assessing staffing needs, coaching and mentoring staff, performance management as required, and for hiring activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BS Degree in an engineering discipline and five years relevant technical experience,
- Demonstrated decision-making, analytical and adaptable leadership, planning and organizational skills.
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA
- Previous Supervisory / Managerial experience.
- PE license
