PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identifies and corrects complex problems in specified appliances and gas/electric water heaters.
• Assists with customer complaint tasks resolution.
• Serves as expert in handling escalated cases involving multiple requests for service.
• Maintains and makes recommendations as to additions or deletions of Company truck stock and equipment.
• Works under minimal supervision.
• Conducts quality control checks necessary to evaluate work performance of appliance personnel and provides feedback to management.
• Attends appliance manufacturer training and presents to team.
• Serves as trainer/mentor for other service techs in the field.
• Promotes the sale of all other services offered by our Company to customers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Work experience in appliance service specializing in at least two of the following skill sets: refrigeration, laundry & kitchen appliances.
• Advanced knowledge and demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues and problems relating to the performance of appliance equipment.
• Advanced knowledge in the tools and material and the ability to recommend procedure changes to meet special needs, and to adapt to changes in industry.
• Advanced knowledge and skills in at least 2 out of 3 of the following categories: refrigeration, laundry & kitchen.
• Advanced skills in servicing gas/electric water heaters.
• Advanced skills in customer relations.
• Advanced skills in sales and the ability to make recommendations to others of all services offered by our Company.
• Superior communications skills, both verbally and in written form.
• Gas fitter's license
• Valid Maryland driver's license
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Average physical ability (Bending, stooping and climbing ladders). Ability to lift objects of various weights
