Expected salary range of $106,200 to $118,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
LOCATION
This is a territory-based field sales role covering a defined territories and vertical markets within the state of Pennsylvania. This role offers remote flexibility, but the candidate must reside within the commonwealth of Pennsylvania and have the ability to cover a territory that ranges from Philadelphia to Harrisburg, PA. Our ideal candidate will live within Eastern Pennsylvania.
This position requires up 75% travel, locally within the geographic territory. Travel expenses, including mileage, are covered by Constellation’s standard travel policy.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Senior Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated large scope projects to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Manages projects to contractual requirements utilizing appropriate resources. Primarily responsible for completing projects under or on-budget and on-schedule. Uses independent judgment, reviews design arrangements and sequence of operations of energy systems and equipment.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Supervises project implementation to assure cost, time, quality and execution guidelines according to schedule (25%)
- Manages all parties involved (internal and external) and ensure professional project management from system design to construction phase (20%)
- Plans, directs and coordinates activities of projects to ensure that goals/objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. (15%)
- Directs and manages one or more internal project teams; Takes responsibility for project controlling (15%)
- Develops and reviews project schedules, cost estimation, bill of materials, budgets, scopes of work, standards and quotes from suppliers (15%)
- Represents project towards external parties such as investors, public authorities, grid operator and others (5%)
- Leads and collaborates with a team of specialists and actively participate in developing project standards (5%)

Qualifications - External
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science degree in a related discipline (e.g., electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, construction management) and 5+ years of related work experience in construction management or project management, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Must possess, at minimum, OSHA 30 certification (or ability to become certified withing 90 days of start date).
- Excellent understanding of engineering and construction documents and processes.
- Demonstrated experience handling high volume and fast paced projects where tactful leadership and cooperation are crucial to cost-effective operation, including project financials, costing, budget projections, and GAAP accounting principals.
- Ability to review schematic drawings and understand mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural plans and specifications
- Experience with construction law, contract terms & conditions and the enforcement of them.
- Experience at preparing estimates and value engineering.
- Must have strong computer skills and a high level of aptitude using Microsoft Office applications, as well as project scheduling applications, such as Primavera and/or MS Project.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to deliver during periods of ambiguity and change.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and influence at all levels of management, including executive level.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- PMP Certification (or ability to become certified within 18 months of starting position).
- Experience in permitting processes with local authorities
- Independently has overseen multi-million dollar projects
- Extensive work experience in management and completion of large scale projects
- Experience managing successful projects in the State and Federal Government sectors
- Working knowledge and practical experience dealing with Distributed Generation and Micro-grid products, such as Solar, CHP, Fuel Cell, Back-up Generation, Battery Storage and CNG
