The Section Manager for Residential Managed Charging and Innovation will lead teams responsible for delivering on a portfolio of programs/projects supporting the clean transition of the transportation sector. The Section Manager will lead the nation's largest residential managed charging program, SmartCharge New York and the innovative demonstration projects team that tests new business models in the clean energy and transport electrification space. The Section Manager will also represent Con Edison's interest as it relates to statewide efforts such as pilots and prizes run by statewide organizations. The Section Manager will work with their program teams to implement and deliver excellence for industry-leading programs looking to scale up operational scope and capabilities. This includes dayto-day operational oversight, developing and maintaining program rules, budget development and forecasting, and regulatory reporting.

- Lead the team executing the Con Edison SmartCharge New York program that encourages off-peak charging and develop an overall strategy on managed charging in a manner that considers future business needs, customer and market expectations, policy priorities, and also ensures compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
- Lead program teams to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.
- Lead all aspects of the programs including implementation planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing resources needed to achieve goals.
- Collaborate closely with the E-mobility business development team to ensure optimal outreach and engagement of new participants to support program performance and goal achievement.
- Lead program growth through the development of innovative design solutions, customer enrollments, timely and accurate incentive payments, and reporting.
- Leverage teams to achieve programmatic targets, manage internal and external stakeholders, and communicate persuasively in support of the Companys strategic vision for the programs' future.
- Collaborate closely with other E-Mobility programs to share best practices and lessons learned, along with program management tools and strategies.
- Develop presentations and communications and represent the Companys interest to external stakeholders such as the New York State Department of Public Service Staff and other stakeholders as needed.
- Liaise with Department of Public Service staff and the New York State Joint Utilities and represent the Company on various committees and interest groups.
- Oversee the preparation of data for thought papers, regulatory submissions, quarterly reports for demonstration projects and interrogatory responses in regulatory proceedings pertaining to the Section Manager's areas of responsibility.
- Represent Con Edison at industry forums, statewide and regional clean transportation technical and other working groups including, for example, mobility related pilots and prizes run by NYSERDA, and utility groups such as EPRI and will execute such responsibilities in a manner that is both aligned with Con Edison's customer needs and priorities as well as advances state policy on electrification.

Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' of work experience with 2 years of relevant work experience including in utility, clean energy, Electric Vehicles or
- Master's Degree and 6 years' of work experience with 2 years of relevant work experience including in utility, clean energy, Electric Vehicles
- Bachelor's Degree Degree in engineering, business, or sustainability disciplines and Project management, clean energy programs
- Experience managing a team and developing its members, required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex issues in a calm, thorough, and professional manner, required.
- Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues who have a diverse set of experiences and approaches to drive business results, required.
- Excellent organizational capabilities and proven successful management of detailed, complex initiatives, required.
- Demonstrated agility and flexibility to deal with ambiguity and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, required.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), required.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills necessary to successfully interface with and influence executives, customers, business partners, and other external stakeholders, required.
- Experience with or knowledge of electric vehicle technologies or clean energy programs, preferred.
- Experience in site development for EV or clean energy projects in Con Edison territory, preferred.
- Have managed a team for >1 year, preferred.
