Responsibilities
We are currently searching for a Valuation Analyst to join our Transaction and Financial Advisory (TFA) practice as a critical part of our talented, highly experienced team and work at the forefront of high-profile engagements. Our Valuation professionals put into play a rare combination of specialized expertise and real-world experience emphasizing a business-minded approach to performing valuations.

What you will do:
Aid in the development of valuation reports for financial reporting, tax compliance and advisory purposes
Conduct valuations on equities, assets, and liabilities
Develop values using income, market, and asset-based approaches
Conduct valuations on complex financial instruments including embedded derivatives, contingent consideration, intangible assets, and interests in complex ownership structures.
Aid in the perpetual enhancement of departmental processes and methodologies
Qualifications
Ideally 2+ years’ experience in a finance or consulting related field
Bachelor’s degree in finance or business-related field (Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics)
CBV, ABV, CVA, CFA or ASA designation or candidacy a plus
Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrate group presentation skills
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Excellent Excel proficiency and ability to develop and understand complex formulae
Ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects while working under tight deadlines when necessary
Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to work independently as well as within a team
Authorization to work in Canada
